. Q Why do I need EZtime subscription to use Outlook TimeCard?
A. There are 3 main reasons why you need to subscribe to EZtime:
1. Security: Employees can synchronize with QuickBooks data, without giving them access to your QuickBooks company file
2. Convenience: Employees can use Outlook Timecard to track and submit time from anywhere, anytime.
3. Control: Employees can not submit time directly into QuickBooks, you have complete  control of what is downloaded into QuickBooks. 
 
 
Q. What version of Outlook do I need?
A. Outlook 2000 SR1 and above. Outlook 2000 users will have to download the and run OVCSetup.EXE from Microsoft's web site.
Q. How do I use a PDA with Outlook TimeCard?
A. When you install Outlook TimeCard, make sure you select your default calendar for time reporting. Then sync with your PDA as you normally do. Click here to see a short demonstration - see how Peter uses the PDA to track time. 
Q. Not everyone in my company has Outlook, how will others track time?
A.  Employees who do not have Outlook, can use the web interface to track and submit time. Employees who have Outlook, can use either the web interface or Outlook TimeCard to track and submit time. 
Q. Can I track expenses in Outlook TimeCard?
A. This feature will be available from Jan 1st 2006. Currently you have to use the Employee Zone web site to track expenses.
